Refund Policy

At Citizenship.EU, we aim to provide accurate and professional eligibility assessments for European citizenship by ancestry. To ensure fairness and transparency, our refund policy is as follows:

1. No Refunds After Submission

• Eligibility Report and Guided Report: Once you have submitted the online form, no refund is offered except under the conditions described in Section 2.

• Full Service: Once you have been connected with a genealogist, no refund is possible except under the conditions described in Section 2.

2. Accuracy Guarantee

We offer a limited refund in cases where:

• We have provided a written assessment stating that you are or are not eligible for citizenship; and

• You provide verifiable documentary evidence that our assessment was factually incorrect based on the information submitted in your original form.

Verifiable documentary evidence must consist of one of the following:

• A written opinion from one of our designated legal partners;

• A written opinion from a consular or other government authority;

• A written opinion from an attorney at law recognized in the country where your ancestor originated.

If these conditions are met, we will refund the cost of the Eligibility Report ($80).

3. Exclusions​

• Higher Service Tiers: For users who purchased the Guided Report ($160) or Full Service ($250) tiers and meet the conditions in Section 2, we will issue a refund equivalent to the Eligibility Report value ($80).

• Undisclosed Facts: We do not issue refunds if a government or other authority reaches a different conclusion based on facts or information not disclosed to us at the time of your submission. Citizenship.EU reserves the right to request copies of all correspondence with the designated authority to verify whether additional information was used.

• Government Decisions: We do not guarantee that our assessment will match the final decision of any government agency. Outcomes may vary due to factors such as criminal records or an inability to provide sufficient documentation linking you to your ancestor. Refunds are not provided for differences of opinion or interpretation unless we are proven factually incorrect as described in Section 2.

4. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund under this policy, email info@citizenship.eu within 60 days of receiving your Eligibility Report and include:

• Your order number;

• A copy of our Eligibility Report;

• Documentary evidence demonstrating that our assessment was factually incorrect based on the information originally provided.
